Our Mission: Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build houses, communities, and hope.
Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers, and they pay an affordable mortgage. Habitat does not give houses away. We believe that owning a home is a major milestone on the road to a family’s financial success. With new homeowners comes a new wave of taxpayers and a new wave of invested, involved residents in our communities. We believe that more Habitat homeowners are a key component in making Alamance County a better place for all of us to live.
