There are many ways to have an impact with Habitat Alamance. Support our mission through a wide range of possibilities, including creative, logistical, and outreach, such as making crafts, serving food, or tabling at events. We have a place for everyone, whether you prefer behind-the-scenes service or public engagement.

- Represent Habitat Alamance by hosting our info table at community fairs and events
- Create content for our social media pages
- Distribute fliers & posters to local businesses & partner organizations
- Give presentations about Habitat Alamance to local community groups
- Assist at Habitat Alamance events & fundraisers (set-up, break-down, serving, receiving, etc.)

Serving or providing snack or drinks on a build site or at an event. All refreshments will be offered to volunteers and Habitat Alamance staff. There are also options to provide full lunches or dinners to volunteers and staff for group events and special occasions.
Want to sponsor a donation event dinner, such as a spaghetti night, to raise money for Habitat Alamance? We welcome that too! Contact our Development Director for more information.

Schedule Intake-Interview (follow directions in email)
Bring in ID & Documentation: Either the court-ordered document, original ticket, or a letter from your lawyer. Documentation is required to approve service and write letters of verification once completed.
The documentation must detail:
- How many hours you need
- By what date
- What the offense was. We do not accept all offenses. We only accept traffic violations and non-violent misdemeanors (except larceny & vandalism).
We reserve the right to decline requests for community service.
Prior to serving your first shift, please do the following:

- Read, print, and sign: Community Service Rules & Regulations (ReStore)
- Complete online: Release and Waiver of Liability – Adults
- Complete online (16-17 years of age): Release and Waiver of Liability – Minors
- Donate items or services as raffle prizes
- Provide a gift basket or gift card as a raffle prize
- Provide professional services to support our office (landscaping, IT, deep cleaning)
- Internships (unpaid)
- Research funding and community outreach opportunities
- Offer how-to classes (i.e.: basic home maintenance)
