Thank you for supporting our Women Build!

October 26, 2021

Cortney and some of our She Nailed It! week volunteers

Thank you for showing up to serve, donate, and spread the word! Our Women Build was a great success and a lot of fun, but it couldn’t have happened without your support. We wanted to give you an update on the impact you made in just one month that will last a lifetime for Cortney and her girls…

Updates from Women Build 2021:

Volunteers served side-by-side with future homeowners and our skilled construction staff to learn new skills, get some fresh air and exercise and, most importantly, to help provide Cortney and her girls with a decent place to live.

Over $21,000 raised! We are tremendously grateful for all the donations you made to help build this home for Cortney and her family! If you would still like to make a donation, you can do so here.

Over 100 Volunteers turned out! That meant over 350 hours of service.

10 Teams of Women were formed – Women stepped up to lead and organize other women from their churches, offices, and friend groups to serve and fundraise together.

33 items “bought” for the house – From cans of paint to studs to trusses, these items were “bought” and blessed by you.If you would still like to “buy” an item for the house, you can do so here.

The walls and roof are up! Women served in so many ways: raising the walls, building and raising interior walls, putting up sheeting on the exterior, and adding shingles to the roof.Watch for an invitation to the dedication for Cortney’s home once it is complete in a couple of months.

Thank you also to our sponsors:
